DIY home repair/improvement question

we have a lot of little projects we can do ourselves but want some guidence as to how to do it..
(ie: putting up mouldings,deck upkeep etc)
is there a good website to go to or a book to pick up to use as a reference?
or should i just annoy everyone with all my questions?

Annoy away, you will get plenty of opinions......... I try to just google most topics and read 2-3 different remedies for what ails my home.....

just make sure you get all necessary permits... any changes in plumbing, electrical, or structural changes (wall demo, or new deck) usually require a permit

I bought Reader's Digest Complete Do-it-yourself guide (got it on amazon). I've used it for a few things so far (unclogging a sink drain, replacing a piece of siding that flew off the house in a storm, changing door knobs, etc). It has a ton of info in it, might be worth checking it out...
