I agree its all or none. This year we stopped having mine and dh's aunts and uncles and their kids and limited our guest list to just grandparents, and our brothers, sisters and their kids. It made my life so much easier. Most of everyone understands, and if they dont, I dont care.

DH isn't the one being the stickler - it's his family. He tends to like to keep the peace (as do I), but I guess I just needed to get a gauge on where do you draw the line, if ever?
and how do you invite cousins on one side, but not the other? ugh, it's so hard.
thank u all for your advice, though!
I guess I will just pack everyone in like sardines and hope for the best, and include my family, especially as someone reminded me that it's only for a few hours.
