Do you feed your LO cereal as well as a bottle?

I'm starting to feel like a bad mommy....are you supposed to give your LO a bottle after feeding them their cereal and fruit?

I don't...DS's schedule is this...

8am bottle 8oz
10am breakfast either yogurt or fruit with oatmeal
1pm bottle 8oz
3pm-veggie with cereal
6pm veggie or fruit with cereal a sippy with like an 1-2oz of water
8pm 8oz bottle with 4 tsp of cereal

DD is almost five months; we start cereal a little over a week ago. This seems to be the schedule that is working.

7am: 7oz bottle
8am: 1 TBSP Oatmeal
11am: 5 oz bottle (This used to be 7oz but since starting cereal, she doesnt want that much)
3pm: 7oz bottle
5pm: 1TBSP Barley
7pm 7oz bottle

My DD cant handle cereal and a bottle at the same time; its too much food for her so I try to space it out a bit.

I always do a bottle before solidd. Bottle then about 15 min later solid

For the first year, BM/formula should be the primary source of nutrition. Food is just for practice. DS always BF or had a bottle 30-60 minutes before solids.

How old is DC? How many bottles do you give per day?
