Do you have to have a Baptism in your Parish church?
I am having trouble booking a date for my daughter's Baptism in my church.
Can I go to another church in the area?
Also, has anyone ever hads a Baptism in the Immaculate Conception Church in Douglaston?
Thanks

We used a different church. The times were better.

We booked a different church. Our church was under construction and looked like a huge mess.

Re: Do you have to have a Baptism in your Parish church?
We just had DS"s baptism on 9/18 and we used a different parish from our own. We live in East Islip now and go to St. Mary's but we really wanted to use the same church (St. James in Seaford) that we were married in and we wanted the same Deacon to Christen him. All we had to do was get a letter from our parish stating that they gave us permission to baptize him in another parish.
