The kids usually get them but they didn't last year. They will this year. DH & myself have never had one.

No, we don't get them.
From what I see, they don't cover all strains.
I would get them if i worked in the medical field in some capacity or if any of us had some sort of immunity issue or chronic illness but we don't.

My child yes.
Me never.
For what it's worth last year she got the shot as always, and got the flu.
I was so aggravated. But it was a bad flu season and the doctors said that they were seeing a lot of flu cases in people who had the shot last year. I guess the strain going around last year was not covered in the shot.

My kids had egg allergies until last year when they outgrew them. We don't do them because of the allergies per our pediatrician's recommendation. Thank you herd immunity.

This is my first year getting the flu shot. My DD is too young to get it yet, but she will definitely be getting it as soon as she is able.

Both of my kids do. My DH and I don't though, I have not had the flu since I had my tonsils out in 1980!!

Yes, all of us. I work in a hospital so I'm required to and since DD is in daycare it wasn't even a question. Now I just have to keep reminding DH to go for his!

We all get it. I am asthmatic and have been hospitalized too often to take a chance (though I am going on 13 years without an er visit or admittance). My doctor says to get it and I trust her. DH teaches and gets the shot too.
