I know what he paid and have the appraisal from when he bought it. We recently were doing something and had to have it reappraised. and I was shocked at how much it increased in value.

yes because we went to the jewelers together and i told the guy exactly how i wanted the ring (he bought the e-ring and w-band together, because i had them design it all at once)

Yes. I saw the receipt on the table of his apartment before we got engaged. That's how I knew he bought me a ring. By the way, it was WAY less than what the ring appraised for.

Yes. It was not alot because we didn't have alot. He completely surprised me with the proposal and I feel like my ring is perfect and very 'me'.
We bought our wedding bands together in Saint Thomas.

It belonged to his great grandmother, it's a family heirloom.
Priceless if you ask me.
Mine's priceless as well. It was my great grandmothers, but with a new stone b/c my cousin has the stone in her ring.
I just was suprised that he said he wont tell me how much he spent.

Yup, he accidently left the receipt with the GIA certification papers so when I asked to look at those I saw the receipt too.

I did get it appraised and he said he paid a lot less that appraisal.

I have an estimate but not the actual amount. He has connections with people that sell jewelry so I know he got a decent discount.

Yes. We went and picked it out together after we got engaged. We got engaged in Disney World in front of the castle and at the time, he proposed with a rhinestone Minnie Mouse ring he bought on Main Street.

I don't know what he paid- but I know it wasn't much because we didn't have much. I remember telling my dad I wanted to have it insured right after I got it and he laughed at me
