I don't have a dog, but if I did, I would not have a problem with the dog licking DS. I tend to be one of the more "laid back" moms when it comes to dirt and germs.
Besides, I can't imagine how you could stop a dog from licking a child every second of the day. They will get to them eventually!
I agree as well. I never washed binkies if they dropped on the floor and we follow the 5 sec rule too. My DH grew up in a house like yours (he's the oldest of 5) and they were very laid back.

yes & I never wash her afterwards. I'll wipe off the slobber, but that's it. I'm sure my mother has a heart attack every time she sees it!

Guillty and dont care about doggy licking my DD The binky party I didnt do becasue people including us had our shoes on and I watched one of theose doctor shows where something fell for a few seconds and was covered with bacteria and freaked me out for life Image Attachment(s):
