Do you sleep with your and dc doors opened or closed?
I am finally about to let dd sleep in her own room but now I am freaking out about keeping her door shut. We have a video monitor and a movement monitor but I just feel afraid I wouldn't hear her. I'm worried about keeping it open in case of a fire, god forbid.

Re: Do you sleep with your and dc doors opened or closed?
Our door open.
Bc DD's room gets so hot with the door closed, we close it when we put her to bed, but open it when we go to bed for the night. If it stayed closed all night it would be 1000 degrees in there

Closed, mostly to keep the cat out and to limit the noise he hears. Our door is open and our rooms are next ro each other

Re: Do you sleep with your and dc doors opened or closed?
Closed, I have a video monitors in both rooms and they are only 4 feet away from mine so even without the monitors I can still hear them they're so close. But my room is usually open most of the time.

DD's doors are closed but ours is open. I also have a monitor in both of the rooms and those are always turned on at my bedside....I don't miss so much as a cough , fart or burp....

Re: Do you sleep with your and dc doors opened or closed?
In the winter, our DS' room doors are ajar so that it does not get too cold in there (thermostat is in the hallway). In the summer, we keep their doors closed tight to keep the cool air in.
Our room is always ajar
