Do you keep unoccupied bathroom doors open or closed?

Do you keep unoccupied bathroom doors open or closed? I usually try and keep them just a little ajar or open. Never latched closed. With two DC in the house, what I "try" to do is kind of pointless. They have no consistency, so I'm often either counting heads in the house, or knocking on the door....

Our bathroom door is always open.. if its closed someone's in there!

We always close it, mainly because we have a dog though and boy does she love toilet paper

closed but only bc I have a 2 year old and I dont want him playing in there. Prior to DS we kept it open, its at the end of an l shaped hall, so unless you are going down there, you cant see it from the rest of the house.

I answered wide open, but it's not because I need someone to know it's open - it's just easier than taking the extra step to close it

Open. I like air/heat circulating in the house. I close all the doors when vivitors come.

In our old apt we had 2 bathrooms. the hall bathroom door we always kept closed, but the master bathroom door we always kept open because it fell 3/4 closed naturally, and we kept our cats food/water/litter in there so they need access.

Our current apt has one bathroom and we leave the door closed, but you can only see the vanity and mirror from the hall

Our upstairs bathroom we keep the door open. The downstairs one has the door closed.

Open, the litter box is in there.

wide open... dh was always used to closing doors before we lived together and it drove me up a freakin wall... he still does it every now and then if he wants to contain a smell i say, let it air the f out! LOL

Our master bathroom door is always kept closed.

Our half bath downstairs is always left open.

I prefer them shut, DH prefers them open so we compromised. I get upstairs my way, he gets downstairs his way.

Upstairs we keep open - our downstairs bathroom we keep closed - as our 2 year old kitty likes to drag the bathroom rug upstairs .. better to keep her out of their than play 'find the rug'... it ends up in the diningroom, under the kitchen table, next to our bed in our room...

They're usually open, but when we have people over, i do try and at least keep the downstairs bathroom door slightly closed since when you walk in the front door, its directly across from you and i don't want that being the first thing you see!
But i hate when people always shut the bathroom door fully when they're not in there.. if i see a closed bathroom door, i assume someone is in there!

Upstairs we keep open - our downstairs bathroom we keep closed - as our 2 year old kitty likes to drag the bathroom rug upstairs .. better to keep her out of their than play 'find the rug'... it ends up in the diningroom, under the kitchen table, next to our bed in our room...

Wide open - there are heating vents in there and if it was closed, the room would be stuffy.

The door is open when unoccupied, closed when occupied. That is how my family and DH's family did it growning up, so we are pre-conditioned!

the bathroom in the kitchen we keep closed....but its also not done at all and looks like crap so that is probably why, i like to hide it hahahah

our master bath doors are open for circulation and upstairs bath is also open for the same reason....those baths aren't done either but since you really can't see them i don't care...

The door is open all the time. We also have no vent in there, just a window, so it gets stuffy if it's closed after taking a shower.

Usually open unless someone is in it

We keep it closed because of our dogs. If they're in their crates (at night) we leave it open.

Closed because otherwise the dog and the cats go in there and make a mess.
