DOE teachers- CAR question
On payroll portal, it said I have 5 days in one section (SUM), and then 0 in another (DET). Can anyone tell me what this means? I resigned in June and thought i had a few days, but when i came back to the DOE in Feb, I assumed I would be starting back at 0...

If I'm reading it right, the balance is what you have left and your usage is what you've used, if you haven't used any of the 5 days the usage would be 0.

yeah that's what I thought too, so according that, I should have 5 days left. However, it says 0 for self-sick so idk

I'm wondering if that section is what you have earned since coming back? Everything from the DOE has to be interpreted lol! Some things never change.

You have 5 days in your car. The self sick row tells you how many (of the days you have taken off this year) were counted as self sick.

makes no sense though! I know I had 0 when I resigned in June. Just came back this month so it should be 0... maybe they accidentally gave me the days from sept-feb?
