Does anyone have an "adopted" child (send donations to charity)
We sponsor a little girl through Compassion International and I love getting letters from her, but I feel bad that I don't write back as often as she does.
Does anyone have an adopted child where you send support/donations to them?
How often do you write to them and do you send them other gifts?

I donate through Compassion as well!! Been doing it for over 10 yrs now!! I feel bad though, I have never written the girl back....ever

I sponsored a little girl for 2 years and I never got a chance to write to her. I received 2 letters from her and when my DH lost his job we had to give up sponsoring her, but the company I was going through (Children's International) still occasionally sends me updates on her.

I have an adoptee through World Vision and I barely write to them 
I really should make more of an effort, but my reasoning to do it was not to form a bond per se, but to just to giver her a better life.
