One of my friends has it- in her spine. SHe has had 2 attacks that were bad, other then that she is fine. She is a flight attendant and is doing great.
I have another friend who was thought to have had it and as of now she does not but they need to keep checking on her from time to time. HEr friend has it for many years- had 2 kids and is doing very well. SHe's extremely active -

A good friend of mine was diagnosed with it about 6 years ago... She's 24 now... I can try to help you out with any questions you may have.
