Does the desired age difference between your DC's have anything to do with you and your siblings?

I have 2 brothers. I am 26, my brother is 21 and my other brother is 15. We are all 6 years apart and it was the worst. The 3 of us couldn't have had more in common with each other, it's like we were on different planets.
DH and his sister are 13 months apart and he said they got along wonderfully and were each other's playmate.

We want our DC's no more than 2 years apart...what about you?

Same thing here. My brother and I are 6 years apart. We get along great now, but as kids we were just ok. I want my children to also be 2 years apart.

my older brother is 3 years older and my younger brother is 4 years younger.
i had always wanted 2 children about 2 years apart....3 at the very very most.
not in the cards, but that is what the ideal would have been for me.
