Yup...actually, DD is almost 3. She uses the Munchkin straw sippy cups.
Sometimes she asks to drink it out of a "big girl cup" with a straw.

I made Jordan use a sippy cup everywhere except the kitchen table until she was like 6 because I did not want stains on the carpet
I know I will pay the price in therapy costs at some point

I like the munchkin straw sippys but I HATE giving him milk in them! The straws get kind of gross and hard to clean. 
Anyone have any suggestions?

same here, miki used the take and toss straw cups (with lids)
we will sometimes let her sit and drink from a regular cup but most times, she uses the cup with the lids

Yup she still drinks all her drinks (except for the occasional juice box) out of a sippy cup. She does know how to drink out of a covered cup with a straw but if the vent comes dislodged on her sippy cups she immediately makes a mess.
ETA: Right now she's loving the Munchkin Dora cups without the straw.

take and toss straw cups are easy to clean
I am a freak.
He drinks juice out of those sippies, but he uses regular sippies for milk (The First Years ones)

Reluctantly... She always wants a big girl cup. I can get her to use these and they are easier to clean then the other straw sippy cups..

Yes he does. I use sippy cups with straws for all their drinks (never liked regular sippy cips for some reason only straw cups).
While he can drink out of a uncovered cup, I am not ready to deal with spills and accidents. I mostly use the take and toss straw cups (I considered them sippy cups though - are they???) for milk and toss as they get grubby. My oldest drank his milk out of his sippies until probably 4/4.5 when I finally felt comfy that he wasn't going to play with it and rarely have spills.

We have a few sippy cups.
The Playtex, Dora with the straw, and the Take and Toss (with straw and with sippy covers).
I use the Playtex when out of the house because they don't leak.

DD is going to be 4 and she still drinks most of her drinks from the take and toss straw cups. She can drink from a regular cup but if shes having a drink anywhere but the kitchen I make her put it in a take and toss for fear of her spilling ...

I've never had a problem if I rinse them right away and then run them through the dishwasher in one of the top-rack baskets. Do you have a dishwasher?

She did, but at 2.5 we just switched to regular cups (and cups with straws if we are out).
ETS: When in the house, the cups stays in the kitchen. She is not allowed to eat or drink in any other room.
