Dream Feeding
My DD is 4 weeks old. Do you think she is too young for this? I know it can't necessarily hurt to try it. Anyone have experience with this with a young infant?
Right now she goes to bed between 7 and 8. Then she will wake about 3 hours later for a bottle. Then she will sleep about 4 hours and be up again for a feeding. Then, she is up another 3 hours after that.

Re: Dream Feeding
At that age I would not do a dream feeding, since she is only four weeks old she is going to wake every 3 hours to eat. That's normal for a newborn!

Re: Dream Feeding
I agree with Diana. Let her tell you when she is hungry, it is too early to try to dream feed her. That schedule looks perfect for a newborn!

Re: Dream Feeding
Thanks! I was actually stressing about doing anything differently. Maybe I will just leave well enough alone.

Re: Dream Feeding
If she's waking 3 hours after she eats, when would you fit a dream feed in? The whole purpose of the dream feeding is to feed them while they're asleep to get them to sleep for a longer period of time....

I was thinking if I went in before she was due to wake up to feed her, she might skip waking up for the middle of the night feeding because she was full.
