DS had his 1st BIG fever last night
He had his shots yesterday but already had a low grade fever before it. The Ped did not want to keep postponing his shots. He has been congested for over 1 month now.
Last night he was a bit warm and I gave him Tylenol. I checked on him again when I went to bed and he was burning up. DH thought "he is a BIT warm". I am like... no, he is really sick.
So, I got him, checked his temp. 103.7, then took it again for 3 times. 104, 103.9. I freaked out. I had DH call the ped immediatelly. They said to keep monitoring him and give him the Tylenol.
This morning he was back down to 101 (much better in my eyes!). We are supposed to go to NJ. I am not crazy about it. Especially since his cousin is only 1 week younger than him.
I hate that my little man is sick!!!

We ended up going to NJ.  DS was cranky all day. His fever is back to 102.5 tonight. So more monitoring and sleepless night.

WOW, poor kid....Is it the shots? i havent heard of them making such a high fever??

We are not sure. He had a low grade fever before the shots. So now it's hard to know what it is. He did not have an ear infection, no wheezing. I am keeping a close eye on him.
The dr. (on call last night) from Schneider's hospital said the 2nd round of shots were a bit "stronger" than last time and it was possible it was that. Or maybe teething.
