DW and Amish country trip - 2 days is enough? Help me plan please :)
We're planning a short vacation to Dutch Wonderland and Amish country. We'd like to do the following:
Dutch Wonderland Drive around Amish country Strassburg Railroad Hands on House Enjoy the pool at hotel
Can we do this in 2 days? Does this itinerary make sense?
Day 1 - arrive around dinner time, check in to hotel
Day 2 - Breakfast Drive around Amish country Strassburg Railroad and/or Hands on House Pool time??? (before or after SR/HOH)
Day 3 - Dutch Wonderland Drive back home
(Or do DW on day 2 and the other stuff, minus the pool since we'll have to check out early, on Day 3)?
If DH can get 1 more day off, we can stretch it for another day, but it's not likely.

I would do Dutch Wonderland on the second day and amish country on the third day.
Edit to say that we did two nights last year and only went to DW. We wanted to go to Stratsburg but it was further south and we didn't want to run into traffic on the way back home. So the third day, we packed, ate breakfast and went home.

Keep in mind that some things are closed in Amish country on Sundays (but not everything, as we found out... ), so not sure if that affects your plans.
Hands-on House you can probably do in about 2 hours or so (you can spend all day there if DC really wants to... )
We went to http://www.plainandfancyfarm.com/ They had a buggy ride (which operates on Sundays, BTW), a model homestead house, a little video story of a teenager deciding to stay with his community or go out into the world on his own. The restaurant there is really good. Family style, so you share a table with other families, and they just keep bringing food out to you, and you pass the food around the table. All you can eat.

We won't be there on a Sunday, but that might be part of the reason the hotel stays are that much cheaper for that day!
Bump for afternoon crowd.

I don't think it's enough time. I think 3/4 is ideal for all of that stuff.

I'd spend the 2nd day a DW. First the rides side then the water side.
I'd do the museum stuff before going home.
