Help me plan for my trip

Going to Mexico for 5 days soon, how many bathing suits should I need? Coverups/dresses, etc.

I'm a light packer. When I go to the Carribbean:

2 bathing suits (1 strapless 1piece/ 1 bikini)
1 pr flip flops
1 pr dress sandals
1 dress or skirt
1 capris
1 shorts
3 tanks
1 light sweater

see im nuts-
i bring 5 bathing suits and 5 coverups
(i never throw out my bathing stuits from a few years so i have a big collection)

3 dresses

a couple pairs of carpris, a couple pairs of shorts
some tank tops and some cute dressier shirts for night

an evening pair of neutral sandals with a heel, and a few pairs of flip flips

Here's my suggestion

2-3 bathing suites.......1 sexy, 1 casual, 1 that you can switch to a going out attire by adding a coverup/dress or a sarong

2-3 pairs of shorts....... 2 pairs shorts and 1 pair capri's or "dressier" shorts

3-4 tanks and a light short sleeve cardigan....

1-2 short sleeve casual tops...a bit more dressed up then the tanks, but still casual

1-2 light summer dresses...think flowy(?) and summery...

3 pairs shoes...1 pair casual ala birkenstocks, 1 pair cute beach shoes, and 1 pair dressy sandals
