ebf moms -help!!! night time teething pain advice needed

I can't deal anymore! Ds has been in pain at night on one tooth for weeks. I ebf and the only thing that calms him in nursing. He doesn't eat really just sucks...nonstop!!! Goes for an hour if I'd let him. Falls asleep...put him down and he's screaming again. Ugh! He's normally a 12 hour a night sleeper except when he teeths...annd this is so bad. Tonight is by far the worst...its now 4:15 and he's been up since 1:40. Tried nursing....rocking...CIO ..Motrin...he just wants to be held or nurse and screams when I put him down. This is going on 3 hours now.... I'm not for CIO but I needed a break after 2 hours...and that's not the way I want to go but I'm lost and can't keep going like this every night. Please help....any advice?

Have you tried the natural Orajel - it doesn't have the benzocaine (sp?) so my ped said it was ok to give DD. Maybe try that with Motrin. And sorry to say, but maybe if you let him sleep with you.
