Electric Stove
We are looking into getting a new stove and I found 2 Kenmore ones that I like. The difference between the 2 is about $60 and that one has a hidden heat element for easier cleaning. Do you think its worth it? Thanks.

Re: Electric Stove
I have a smooth surface electric stove. I like it because it is easier to clean, but on the other hand it is black and everything shows, so you have to keep on top of it

Re: Electric Stove
I have a smooth top stove. I've, also, had one where the heating elements were exposed. I like the smooth top much better. It's much easier to keep clean. The only drawback is that the entire top gets hot when cooking. If I had small children, this would concern me because if they touched the top of the stove they could get burned. With the other kind, only the elements get hot.

Re: Electric Stove
Thanks! I am actually referring to the heating element inside the oven not the stovetop... but I think I found the one I like.
