Embryo Storage
I got my first bill for embryo storage, $300 that's billed quarterly. Dh and I are pretty sure that we are done having children, but I'm not 100% there yet. I feel like to stop paying the storage and having them donated (which is what we had decided before) makes it seem final and for me so sad, these are my babies. Yet to keep paying storage seems crazy too.
Don't know what I'm looking for..i guess just thinking aloud..

What a tough decision.
I am in the 2ww of a FET and am almost happy I don't have any left. I guess I'm glad that I don't have to make the decision, it was made for me, you know?
I'd have a really hard time letting go also. Hugs!!

I donated mine to science in April. It was a very difficult decision to make and I shed quite a few tears over it. I had them left over from IVF with DD1. DD2 was conceived naturally- quite a surprise. I think I may be done having kids, but if I decide to go for a third, I will try naturally. If it doesn't happen with us, I feel very blessed to have the two healthy, beautiful girls I do. I still owe over $1,000 for the storage fees. I couldn't keep up with it. I knew I had to do it, but I felt like I was aborting my babies. It made me feel sick and very emotional. It was the only option I could take, though.
At this point, I am okay with the decision. Although I think about them often, i'm at peace with it.
