Re: Emergency room
So sorry. I have been there. A lot.
What size are they? Did they refer you to a urologist? They may be able to blast them with lithotripsy. It's a quick same day procedure that breaks them into sand so you don't have any more pain.
If you need a urologist, I can get you the number to mine. He isn't taking any new patients but there are other drs at his practice that are. No need to "wait it out" and risk uti, kidney infection or another bad incident with pain. Believe me... Go get those suckers smashed.
In the meantime 1 gallon or more of water a day. Add fresh squeezed lemon. Lots of it. It's supposed to help break them down. Also strain every urine so you can catch one and get it analyzed.
Good luck! I hope they have you some good pain killers.

Re: Emergency room
Ugh. That stinks. I'm sorry. I was there on Friday and the lady next to me had them too. I hope they can try and blast them. Did the radiologist tell you to wait two months to ttc? I had a CT scan with contrast and no one said anything!

Re: Emergency room
Thank you so much ladies and yes PhylisnJoe I have a great uro that I see his name is DR. Paul on Marcus Ave he wants me to wait and see what the sono and xray show before they blast them I have a follow up on Wednesday. Also the Doctor in the ER told me not to try and have a baby for at least 2 months because the eggs that are in there are radioactive and the new ones might also be I did not get with contrast I got with out.

Re: Emergency room
With that 6mm I would def get the litho sooner then later.
I just had a 7mm that I passed all the way down (painfully) and as it was about to go into the bladder, it got stuck. Too close to ovaries to blast so I had to go under general anesthesia and they had to go up and in to grab it. Then had a stent for a week. It was not fun. At. All. Get the lithotripsy before this happens. Hurry ! Lol

Re: Emergency room
Kidney stones are rough! I've had them . 5 or 6mm is small enough that they should pass. Just drink TONS of liquids. Feel better!
