Are you having a baby and want to capture those precious newborn moments? Enter to win a newborn photography session from Lisa Viox Photography! Prize includes the newborn photo session sitting fee and $150 in prints.
All you need to do to enter is reply to this thread and tell us the best pregnancy advice you have ever received. Also include your due date. The winner will be chosen randomly from all the entries!

Best pregnancy advice i got was read a book or two on how to sleep train a baby - it is hard to read when you are exhausted

Best advice was to be calm. A baby can feel when you are tense, especially when they are screaming their heads off!!! Hard to do!

Best pregnancy advice I was ever given was to "trust your body!"When I was pg with DS I wanted a natural birth and after being told to "trust my body, that it will know what the right thing to do" I was able to deliver my son naturally and I pass that advice along to anyone else who wants the same as I did.

The best pregnancy advice I have received is to enjoy every minute because once the baby comes time speeds up. Before you know it, your child will be graduating so treasure every moment from pregnancy on.

This isn't so much advise as it was to calm my husband when he found out we would be a house of 3 little girls when he spoke to a buddy of his he replied -
a boy is boy till he takes a wife, a girl is a girl for the rest of your life... he has since stepped off the ledge

The best pregnancy advice I was given was to be thankful my little guy was giving me trouble in the womb (all day sickness!), because he would be an easy newborn. Sure enough, that crazy old lady was right!

Best Advice: Smile and be polite to everyone, but you are the Mommy and you have instincts --- follow your instincts and do what works for you and your family. Every baby and every family dynamic is different and there is no black or white answer.

hmmm this is tough. I guess the best advice I got was to take time before the baby comes to spend quality time with DH since life changes so much once the baby comes. With DD#1 we certainly did and I look back on those times with great joy :) It's a little harder now that we already have DD, but I am trying to cherish every minute we have as the family we are currently before things change again. Obviously every child brings so much joy to a family and many new adventures, but it's nice to stop and appreciate what you already have.

Best Advice: You may not believe it now, but it goes fast. Enjoy being a couple (or a family of 3) because before you know it you will be holding that new baby in your arms and life will never be the same!

Best advice:
Since my friends and family know I am bit of a control freak the best advice I received was:
Nicole, relinquish all control from this day forward. You cannot control the sickness, you cannot control the constant peeing, you cannot control when the baby will come, you cannot control anything once the baby arrives. So just sit back and enjoy the ride and know that we are all here to support and guide you.

The best advice I ever received was to keep active and keep hydrated! As long as it's safe for your LO the more you move, the longer the pain stays away!
Oh and edited to add. . best advice really is
STAY AWAY FROM GOOGLE!!!!!! It causes nothing but anxiety and nightmares>
