Etiquette re: Inviting Siblings to Birthday Party

We have good family friends who have a 2 year old DD and 5.5 year old DS.. we're having DD's 2nd bday party at a place that is geared more toward the 2 year old crowd.. would it be rude to only invite the 2 year

ETA: Thanks everyone. Taking all of your advice and inviting both ld to the party ?

I'd invite them both.
It's a PITA to take one kid and not the other & 5 is still young. I had 7 year old's at my 3 yr old birthday party and they had a great time.

Thanks! That's what I figured, would hate for the DS to feel left out especially since the parents are pretty good friends.

I aways invite siblings because I really don't like it when only one of my boys are invited to a party. If its a school friend, then obviously I don't expect siblings to be invited. But if its one of my friends, I do kind of expect it.

Invite Both!! Save your sanity and parents at the same time. Plus gap is not that large!

For family friends, I'd invite both. If it was just a friend from school where you don't know the family, it's ok not to invite siblings.

ITA. If it is a good friend, I don't see how not to invite all the kids.
