Exhausted Mommies of more then one child!
I am just so exhausted lately!
I thought that once I hit my 2nd trimester it would improve, and if anything, it has only gotten worse!
I have a 6yo who we are constantly running around to somewhere---friend's bday parties, religion class, dance, girl scouts (I'm the GS leader too so lots of extra work there while she is at school), and then I babysit for a 3 year old also who is constnatly on the go, from 6:20am - 5pm at night.
I am just tired!
I just want to crawl into bed and SLEEP today!!
How do all of you Mommas of more then one handle it when you are pregnant? It is exhausting!

It is absolutely exhausting. I totally feel your pain. I have a wild 18 month old who is all BOY. I also work FT and have a demanding job. I am 35 weeks pregnant and perpetually exhausted. I had a meltdown last week about this same exact topic. It is so overwhelming. I think I am also crazed becuase I know once DD arrives it is going to be so much worse so the anticipation is killing me too. Please know you are not alone

I have an almost 4 yo and a 15 mo old. Luckily, my 4 yo still naps in the afternoon, so I can get a break then. I call it "quiet time", so even if she doesn't sleep, she sits quietly and watches a movie. Then I can rest too.
ETA Can you do "quiet time" with the 3 yo?

Naps were definately a possibility in the past. Now the 3yo is in school 3 days a week, and it has thrown off her nap schedule. She was a great afternoon napper and now she goes to school in the afternoon, so no naps on school days, and on the two days that she doesn't have school, naps are kinda iffy because her schedule has become so different.
The plan was to nap while she was at school, but there always seems to be things that I need to get done then --- errands, grocery shopping, running around for Girl Scouts, it's always something!

Totally understand. I had most of the day to myself yesterday and instead of relaxing I cleaned my car and went to Costco and Stop and Shop.

I hear ya! My boys are 16mo. I work FT and commute to the city. I get up at 5, get home at 5 and usually have insomnia most of the night. I just had to switch back to regular coffee bc I am unable to function w/ only decaf.
On the days when I am home w/ the boys, I clean when they are napping so I never get to rest. Yawn!

I'm actually not handling it all that well these days...
I am so shot today. The circles around my eyes have never been darker.
I did get a huge jolt of energy when I hit the 2nd tri and I felt like superwoman. Well, superwoman has left the building now at 20 weeks. I feel like if I don't slow down soon, my body might force me to (by getting sick).
Two things that help though: -working out
If I have a day where I miss the gym, I am useless.
-last weekend I took a looooong hot bath and omg, it did wonders for me. Rejuvenating. I meant to do it this weekend to but alas, I just crashed.
I intend on making that a weekly ritual though AND I am booking a prenatal massage in a couple of weeks.
I work two jobs and have 2 kids so yeah, stress is a constant in my life and rest is non-existent.

I just commented on the other post but I feel your pain! It was much easier the first time around. I am only in the first trimester though. I am hoping it will get better
