I want people to live, simple as that.
I don't know why people want to gamble with their own lives...their childrens lives...but I guess this is evolution at work. They way its looking unvaxxed people will be unable to participate in society, which I suppose, is again, evolution at work. Collectivism trumps individualism everytime.
What things will they not be able to participate in?

I read somewhere that the CDC says the largest age group of hospitalized Covid patients is 18-49 now.
What else have they said about them? Did they have prior issues? Nothing will be said except for the ages to scare people.
Stop already with that "underlying" condition bs. SO WHAT??? If they have asthma, it's highly unlikely that they's be in the hospital if it weren't for COVID. And many of them have no underlying conditions. Give it a rest already. If you are fearful because of the FACTS, that's on you. Stating FACTS is not fear mongering. Your level of ridiculousness is unbelievable
And you know that because you are a doctor and see people in the ER everyday? Funny as my child’s doctor specifically told us that the majority of people in the hospital and dying are overweight and have diabetes.

Yup. And there are 2 people that speak this way on this board that stick out in my mind.
So sad and selfish. All about them, them, them and no one else.
No where has anyone ever said that. The whole point on why were quarantined in our houses for months on end was to protect the elderly. The reason why we and all our children were masked up the last year was the protect the elderly since the vaccines were not ready. The elderly were the first ones given the vaccines.
This is just a ridiculous statement.

No one is saying it’s not serious, it’s just more serious for a certain demographic and yes they should take a vaccine. However, this vaccine as it is now does nothing for the average healthy person or child who does not need it as bad. And whether or not joe smoo has a vaccine around you when you do, should not matter right because you have the protection of a vaccine. Or is the vaccine just a wet bandage that’s falling off and not really too useful?

That is not true at all. "Average healthy" people have fallen seriously ill from COVID and died. The vaccine greatly reduces the risk of that happening - for everyone

And as a matter of fact, I am well versed in the current (and past) hospitalization population of COVID patients. (Sorry to burst your bubble, but more than just Drs. deal with the numbers on a daily basis). Thousands upon thousands of previously completely healthy people, in their 20's, 30's and 40's died from this disease, along with thousands upon thousands who also had underlying conditions. If you really want to argue that only those with an underlying condition died or became seriously ill, there is more wrong with you than can ever be helped.

An elderly family friend (fully and independently functional but over 80) who was fully vaccinated just passed away from covid. Please encourage your parents and other elderly to be very careful. This woman thought she was safe and was back living life normally because her doctor told her since she was fully vaccinated she wouldn’t get covid and led her to feel she could take off her mask and life normally again with family and friends. Now the narrative is changing but make sure your elderly relatives are aware,

As sad and rare as it is, it does happen. And an independently functional octogenarian could still have many years of joy and love in her life to share. Thank you for posting this, it is very important to hear.

Says who? The media story that al seem to be written by 5 year olds lately?
Funny how I just read one about a father who got sick on vacation and kept saying he wished he had gotten the vaccine. They pulled at your heart stings and yes it is sad for someone to get sick. If you looked at the picture of him, he was NOT the picture of health but not once did they mention his obesity or any underlying conditions.

And how long do you think before corporations will give up on the vaccine mandate? I saw that less than 60% of the U.S. is actually vaccinated, I can only imagine how many qualified individuals will be looked over because of it.

She is strange. But whatever. I got vaccinated because I don‘t want to wind up in hospital. I don‘t want more needles prodded into me if I can stop it. They have also said to us that things are not going to get better here. There is a six-week wait between the first and second dose. They have upped that to 3-4 weeks now.
To quote someone here (in Germany):
„The doc who did my jab on Friday seemed pretty concerned about the way things are going and urged me to move up my second jab date by a matter of days. I asked, a few days? What's the big deal? My second jab is scheduled for the 27th of August. He thought the 22nd would be better and predicted, grimly, that the situation will look a lot different a few weeks from now. (I didn't change the appointment--I'd rather have a week's worth more of protection in winter than in summer.)“
They are preparing here. It’s not looking that good, tbh.
I’ll protect myself and others.
ETA: our vaccine schedule is a few months behind.

Yep. This isn't serious b/c the highest risk is associated with the compromised or elderly. So I'M fine or I SHOULD BE fine, that's all that matters, right? BUT, GASP, they might make me wear a mask! All to save those sicker or older than me! HOW UNFAIR! (sacrasm)

What else have they said about them? Did they have prior issues? Nothing will be said except for the ages to scare people.

I have NO clue what she has against me and if she knows me in real life but I would never hire someone like that as they seem like they would not be a very good representative as they can't control their anger.
