Eye glass frames for kids
Where's the best place to get decent but inexpensive frames for kids? Last year when my DD was 1st prescribed glasses we got them at Ikids in Plainview which is attached the the eye dr office. I thought they were pretty expensive so I don't want to get her another pair from there. I'm in Commack....

How old is your dd? Target and walmart have kids package specials all the time but they are limited to their frame selection. Jc pennys has a decent selection of kids too but again...not a lot of small frames (for 2/3 and under)

Costco!
I bought my DD's first pair at Cohen's and they were SO expensive. Costco is practically a steal!

Re: Eye glass frames for kids
We got frames for my son at Brookhaven Opticians in Smithtown. We have Davis vision so I'm not sure how much they would have been without the insurance but maybe call them. They had a nice selection and the man who helped us was very knowledgable and great with my 1 year old.

She just turned 3 in May. Last year I bought her the plastic frames with the strap, but she is so good with her glasses I think she's ready from the regular ones...

Coastal.com! I recently ordered from there and got my glasses for free, just paid like $10 shipping. You would obviously need your prescription to do this and they tell you how to measure the pupal distance so it was simple. I wasn't sure what the quality would be like but I am really happy with them. If you do go through them please use this link since I get a referral :) www.Coastal.com

Re: Eye glass frames for kids
ive been going to Access Optical in Merrick since DS was 11 months. I absolutely love them. the glasses are more than costco or walmart, but its never extra for adjustments (which are needed like ones a month), or to fix scratches or breakage. well worth it to me.

We get DS's glasses in BJs. Usually it's 2 for $69 for kid's glasses!!!
They will adjust them for free or replace it within 6 months if anything breaks or if your prescription changes
