Facebook Friend Request Question
Let's say your name is Spongebob Squarepants..
You get a friend request from someone named Spongebob Squatpants.
No message with the friend request.
It is an actual person with multiple friends and seems "normal".
It's quite obvious that this Spongebob has sent a friend request b/c your names are so similar.
Do you accept their friend request?

Nope! DH had a guy with his name request him a few times. I don't get what's so funny about it or why you would want to be friends with someone you don't know.

I accepted a friend request from an Italian woman with my same last name. 
It's actually pretty fun - we wish each other Happy Birthday, Anniversary, Merry Christmas, etc in each other's native languages.

99% of the 1,000+ people on my friends list are people i know or have met in person... with the exception of a few famous people (Megan Fox, i cant help it)....
there was another person with my name out there adding EVERYONE with that name.... i refused... but i did join the group he created....

same here. I had a bunch of ppl from HS request me that NEVER ONCE in 4 years had spoken to me. No reason to start now
