Actually, back in the day, my uncle & Mom were good friends with Brian Setzer (of the Stray Cats). Him & my uncle had a band together in HS!!! We actually used to go visit him when he still lived in Massapequa!

my dad went to school with Rudy Giuliani, James Patterson (author), Rick Patino (bball coach), Kareem Abdul Jabar, and lots of others. He seems to know everyone.
My job allows me to interact with lots of famous people...especially Jets and Giants players...some of who I've gotten to know but wouldn't call them my friends. I've also met quite a few hip hop stars - Nelly, Lil Kim ( ), 112, etc. I also recently met Brian Williams of NBC and Rosanna Scotto of Fox (who is an absolute doll)

One of my oldest friends is a model for VS and Patricia Field. She was dating Josh Harnett and was supposed to bring him to my wedding. But he was really cheating on Scarlett Johansen with her
ETA: We are good friends with a guy who does stunt work and he has been on Prision Break quite frequently since it is filmed in Illinois and they live in Chicago.

one of my closest friends is the assistant to such famous people as Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruise, Emmy Rossum, Sharon Stone, Fergie, etc. It is really weird when she answers her phone and says "hey Penelope", like it is nothing My friend is alwasy in magazines like InStyle since she is alwasy with her clients.
I use to be friends with LL Cool Jay, my husband knew Bizmarkie and Eric Sermon.
Come on ladeis, give up the names,you're not gossping about them, you're just telling the truth, right?

A good friend of mine is friends with Scott Wolff and I've hung out with him and his brother(also an actor) in LA. he is pretty nice.
I love Scott Wolf! Is he still married to Kelley from the Real World? I hated her! He could do much better.
My friend from college who was in my major and sorority wrote the Devil Wears Prada.
I went to high school with KT Tunstall.
My brother is good friends from high school with Dierks Bentley.
I dated a member of the Coors (beer) family once in college.

My cousins husband was the personal body guard for former MLB commissioner Fay Vincent...We never got to meet him but he brought my brothers baseballs from the World Series that took place in Oakland CA when the big Earthquake happened.

I went to college with the guy on Brothers and Sisters. The younger looking "brother". I had a crush on him and he talked to me like once at a party. His real name is Dave. He was friends of friends and was really big on the college tv station. He def. had that "it" thing about him. HOT!!!!!!

A coworker's sister is Ray Romano's personal assistant. She flies on Ray's private jet when she comes home for Christmas.
A former coworker is married to one of the starters for the Jets (can't name names, sorry).
My uncle was good friends with the guys from Three Dog Night when they were teenagers.
I used to play kickball against Eddie McGee from Big Brother 1 (he was the winner) in 4th grade, before he lost his leg. Eddie was a year ahead of me in school.
One of my best friends from middle/high school is an actress. She isn't famous, but she is an extra in all the Law and Orders and in many movies including the Good Shepherd. She knows lots of famous people.

My sister is friends with an actor named Justin Kirk (i can't save pics on this computer, but I will get one later on here). He's been in: Weeds (the brother), Angels in America and Jack and Jill.
He was FANTASTIC in Angels in America!

My SIL is related to Whitey Ford. I've had to babysit my niece and nephew a few times so she and her family could go to Whitey Ford day at Yankee stadium a few years back.
And not personally friends with any famous people but I've had a few come into my work for x-rays. LL Cool J, Billy Joel and his wife, Natalie Portman...

He must be a friendly guy--He was a groomsman at my friend's sister's wedding too. (he went to college with her DH, I think.)
I was friends with someone in college who was friends with Katie Holmes in HS, but I don't actually now any famouse people myself!
(I don't really count a girl I went to college with who is a contributer on soem of theose VH1 " I love the . . ." shows )

I've met a lot of famous people through my old job - political ones, top CEOs, celebrities/actors, sportsmen, etc.
I wouldn't call them friends though since I'm sure few of them could recall my name.
I went to high school with Mariah Carey & Christina (ok, Chrissie) Harnos, she was ER's Dr. Greene's ex-wife.
My roommate from college dated a few well-known golfers (before they were well-known), Yankee baseball players & a guy from the Yankee organization.
That's it off the top of my head.
