My High School SS teacher was the Baldwin brother's dad. Alec was just starting on soaps then. My friend's brother was Slim Jim from the Stray Cats.

Other than that, I knew who Constantin from American Idol was growing up and thought he was gross because he had long hair. My best friend lived across the street from his apartment building...

MY FIL used to live next door the the Jets guy who I think plays for Minn now, Sam Cowart (sp) I think he was #56 on the Jets. Thats all I got.

My DH's great uncle is Mario Puzo who wrote the Godfather.

My dad and Steve Corell's (40 yr old virgin) dad used to work together. His dad is retired now. I think my dad met him at one of the company BBQs before he became big.

my dad went to school with Rudy Giuliani, James Patterson (author), Rick Patino (bball coach), Kareem Abdul Jabar, and lots of others. He seems to know everyone.

My job allows me to interact with lots of famous people...especially Jets and Giants players...some of who I've gotten to know but wouldn't call them my friends. I've also met quite a few hip hop stars - Nelly, Lil Kim ( ), 112, etc. I also recently met Brian Williams of NBC and Rosanna Scotto of Fox (who is an absolute doll)

We're friends with Rachel from the Real World Austin, her boyfriend is FH's best friend and best man in our wedding... I dont' know that that counts as famous though, but when we go out, people point and whisper and come up to talk to her.

Kareem Abdul Jabar went to my Mom's prom - when he was Lew Alcindor. He was someone's date.

In HS I was friends with Michelle Ongkingkco. She's not that famous but she seems to be on her way! She's did an epi of 90210 back in the day, Boston Public, a Grey's episode recently, The O.C., Ghost Whisperer, and even more recently, a few episodes on Gilmore Girls.

I haven't seen her since HS but I remember when she got her first acting gig... I believe it was Swan's Crossing (anybody remember that corny teen soap opera ). She seems to be doing pretty well.

I don't really know any famous people except my cousin is Kevin Nathan (for those of you that live in Conn) he is a sports caster for NBC (and when Len Berman is out around the holidays he fills in).

Britney Spears' brother Brian used to work for my sister. She had gone out with the family a few times.

In college my brother dated a girl that was Steven Tyler's goddaughter. He had dinner at Steven Tyler's house and Liv was there.

My best friend was best friends with Turtle from Entourage in high school. Infact, I could have some pretty good blackmail on him from all the old movies they used to make in high school

I am in a kind of work that I meet with famous people on daily basis....from political figures to celebrities to sheiks and richest people of the world....I have met & had lunches with many of them...I don't consider them as my "friends" but a lot of them know my name...

I was an extra on the film "Bronx Tale" and became friends with Robert Deniro & Chaz Palmentarri who filmed the movie for about 6 months on my block & and at my HS...

The only "famous person" I dated (for about 2 years) is related to the Gambino family...... I was "friends" with John Gotti, his daughter & babysat his grandchildren Frank, Carmine & John I did attend his funeral which was held in Maspeth & Glendale where I used to live...

My ex-BF of about three years (we are still friends today- we dated all through HS) went to HS with Natalie Portman. They were in the same grade, had the same lunch period senior year, etc. They grew up in the same district and he never really thought anything of her- until she was in The Professional and then when Star Wars came out (when they were still in HS) it was, of course, a pretty big deal but he said no one in the school EVER treated her differently. She basically kept to herself- he used to tell me that he would see her walking down the hallway alone and seemed shy.

By the way- her real last name is Hershlag lol I guess her agent told her to change that! She went with her, I believe, Grandmother's or Mother's maiden name which is Portman.

My Mom grew up with and went out with, for a little while as teenagers, Tony Danza. He was actually the guy she dated before my Dad. To this day my Dad gets jealous when Tony Danza comes on TV! How ridiculous! My Mom's first kiss was Tony Danza... And he and his Mother lived down the block from my Mom's house (like four or five houses down) so they were together and played as children everyday. My Mom still remembers when Tony's Mom died-- it was very upsetting for him she said. They recently had a "get together" or something organized by a guy they all grew up with and Tony was going to make an appearance-- so my Mom wanted to go with her other friend, Donna. Well, my Dad got wind of this and got all bitter and envious! He kinda pouted and put on a little mood and my Mom ended up NOT going b/c of my Dad's childish, typical man behavior!

Other than that? Well, my Dad was a Correction's Officer at the Nassau County Jail for over 30 years (he is now retired)... So, if you count Amy Fisher, Joel Rifkin, Henry Hill, Colin Ferguson, among others as "famous" then he knew all of them quite well! One of his most frequent inmates: Flavor Flav.
