February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Just wanted to see how all the little ones are doing! I've noticed some pictures with lots of accomplishments! I like doing these updates so I can look back on them since I am awful with writing things down lately.
Gregory is 5.5 months and just amazes me each day with what he can do.
He sits at the baby poker table at daycare now and plays with toys
Sits in the exersaucer (loves it!) and plays with the same toys his brother used to adore - I love this thing...keeps him busy for a while!
He can sit up when propped for short periods.
Started cereal 2 weeks ago and sweet potatoes this weekend. Going to make all the food (for no other reason that I really do like to make it) except peas. Bought my first 3 jars of baby food today (earth's best peas).
Saying Da Da and babbling like crazy..especially in the morning when he first wakes.
Laughs huge belly laughs when tickled.
Grabs and reaches for things...everything goes into the mouth!
Rolls from belly to back on both sides...but not back to belly yet.
So let me hear about all of your little cuties!!! They are all getting so big

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Noah is also around 5.5 months, born the 11th of March.
DS loves his exersaucer, walk around thing. The jumperoo is only fun if mommy is standing there saying "jump with your feet" over and over again.
He sits tripod but always lunges forward for something, trying to grab anything to put in his mouth. My slobbering teething monster has to touch and taste everything in sight.
We started cereal at 3.5 m, and now have pretty much experimented with most of the easy veggies and fruits, I make almost everything but prunes. But I do buy premade, plum brand squeezable pouches. They are so yum. Our ped recommend we move to yogurt that's been great, he loves it. Next step is meats, and I'm really nervous about it.
He's saying MahmMahm and babbling like crazy too, except we also have screams screatches, squeels, and everything else in between. He also mouths like he's going to say something and no sound comes out and then he just screams. Crazy stuff. I hope its normal
"Laughs huge belly laughs when tickled" Yep us too! and he laughs when I nibble on his feet too. He actually has sweet stinky feet
Rolling like crazy, in his crib especially
Favorite pastime, dropping toys from the high chair and watching them fall. Yippee... We try to sit him there while we have dinner, we just makes sure to have enough toys to keep putting on the tray.
I guess it might be easier when he's on finger foods and then he can actually eat with us. Or maybe he'll just be throwing the food
ETA: he was 29" long and 19 lbs at his 5m visit
edited, 19" and 29lbs?

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DD is 5 months (3/26)
She reaches for and grasps things, tries to hold her bottle, babbles a little bit, lifts her head and shoulders and rocks a little to get things out of reach when she's on her tummy and sits when propped and tries to sit on her own.
She loves the jumperoo and exersaucer- but she loves to lay on her back and look around most of all.
She is also eating fruits and veggies.
I started putting banana in the mesh feeder thingie last week and she LOVED it!!
It's so much fun watching her develop
ETA: She has 2 teeth already!

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Adam is 5 months old (born March 21st). He's a rolling machine and is crawling army style. He sits up tripod style for a few minutes but will usually forget what he's doing and topple over after a few minutes. He loves to kick his legs when you hold him upright and loves to stand. I really think he's going to be an early walker!
I'm EBF and plan on starting cereal at 6 months. He's shown an interest in food and always stares at us when we eat.
He's teething and is drooling and sticking EVERYTHING in his mouth. We've had a slight bump in the road with the sleeping....he'd been STTN since 8 weeks old until about 10 days ago. Lately he's been getting up 2-3 times a night.
He is overall a mellow little guy, likes socializing, loves being outside. He's making all kinds of noises, no mama or dada yet though. He loves to laugh and will screech when I tickle him under his arms He just started noticing Milo (our Siamese cat) and he'll smile and laugh at him, it's the cutest thing!

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Ooh I love these! I miss them! DS is 6 months old... he is so close to 7 months old already (the 5th) that it makes me sad how fast time reallly is going. He just turned 6 months like yesterday LOL. Anyways... he is nothing but amazing to me... each day is truelly like a whole new adventure. I love watching him learn and explore. He is waay to active for his age. I guess I'm not going to luck out in getting any sort of break with him being mobile... since he is now doing the army crawl all over the place. He keeps trying to get up to a normal crawl position...rocks a bit...then scoots back down to his belly. He loves to climb...omg...EVERYTHING! He climbs up on the couch... climbs OVER his little play table. It's just never ending. He hates being confined now... will only stay in his jumperoo or exercaucer for all of 3 mins, and I must sit there and play with him in it. LOL. He loves to stand... he has since day one, but now he just gets pure joy out of it. He learned to stand in his crib and go "Mmmm" to get my attention LOL. It's the cutest thing ever....but I'm just not ready for this. I was thinking I had another 3 months or so AT LEAST!! He rolls all over the place once I put him to bed at night. Never sits still...even in his sleep HA He really wasnt a fan of solids at first.. so we didn't start them at 5 months...we tried..but he spit out most of them. When I treid 2 weeks later, he LOVED them. So now we are up to 3 solids a day, with yogurt as a snack PLUS still having about 32oz of formula! Whew! I don't get how this boy eats so much! He only weighs 15.10 at his 6 month appt. He looves water! We got him a little pool at the begining of the summer and I would do what no many mommys do, and dunk him each time. Now he's such a fan of the water... splashes and kicks at it. If I let him he would sit in the tub all night long LOL. We did CIO about 3 weeks ago, and as soon as I put him down at 7:30pm on the nose, he'll fuss for all of 30 seconds and then he's out til 8pm. He may sleep well at night, but he's not a fan of naps. I have been trying to get him to sleep in his crib for the npas...but he doens't want anything to do with it...on most days at least. So I have been giving in and letting him nap in his high chair fully reclined... lol But I must be super quiet in my own house for the full hour HAHA I can go on and on... but he's such a joy to be with. No matter what happens he gets me instantly happy. One more thing...my laptop fell today, and I was crying so he crawled over to me, and gently caressed my knee once he crawled up my legs. I swept him up, and he just kept looking up at me smiling, as if to say, it's OK. And since then I've benn OK. BTW, that laptop had all of HIS pics on it that I havnet yet put on CD. So we'll see if that can be fixed tomorrow.

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DD will be 5 months on the 9th. She is a bruiser, over 17lbs and 26". She belly laughs(as some may have seen on my FB page), attemting to hold her bottle, plays in the exersaucer, grabs at everything, is getting 2 teeth on the bottom, everything that can fit goes in her mouth. She rolls back to belly and is starting to sit on her own,but isn't quite there yet.I fed her cereal and veggies/fruits a few times here and there, but have just started beingmore consistant thinking it might help her sleep, butit hasn't. I have let her try peach and mango in the mesh thingy and she loves it. She absolutely adores her big brother and he her.
She is doing lots of great things, but her sleep is suffering. My awesome 11 hour a night sleeper has been waking so much. I'm hoping these teeth break thru soon because I feel so bad for her andi need some sleep myself.

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DS is over 5.5 months now (born 3/6) and he's at such a fun stage right now. He's so aware of everything around him, always looking around and wanting to touch everything and shove it in his mouth He can grab his own toys and can make his spinning toy spin.
He looooves his jumperoo. He jumps like crazy and then inevitably falls asleep on it, it's so funny! He likes the exersaucer, but only for a little while at a time. He can play in his crib on his own looking at his mobile and now he loves his aquarium crib soother - he's fascinated by it!
He rolls over belly to back, but only on one side. He HATES tummy time, so now that he can roll over, tummy time basically doesn't exist, lol.
He can't sit unassisted just yet, he kinda just plops over.
He's been having rice cereal in his bottles since 3 months. We tried solids (rice cereal and then bananas) once every 2 weeks since 4 months (he kept spitting it out so we would just try again 2 weeks or so later). Well this weekend I switched it up and tried oatmeal for the first time, and he not only "got it" but he loved it! He grabs at the spoon when I put it in his mouth and shoves it in further. I think he also likes the texture because he shoves his fingers in his mouth as I'm feeding him and touches the oatmeal. He's a trip.
He has slept through the night 4 times since he was born and all 4 times were in the last month. The week he started rolling over, he STTN 3 nights in one week and then went back to waking up at least once a night. I am hoping he starts STTN more regularly some time soon cuz I miss my
He babbles a lot and when he cries, it sounds a lot like maaa-maaaa No real discernable babbles yet.
He laughs big hysterical type laughs with DH. I don't know what it is, but DH can make DS laugh so easily! He laughs with me too, but I swear he's just crazy for his daddy

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Sienna will be 6 months Wednesday
She was 15lbs 5ozs both at the GI and the ped. At the ped she was 26 inches, GI she was 24, but the GI is more accurate because she is a peanut!
She sits unassisted for short periods of time and she tries to lift up off the floor. She lifts up a lot from tummy time, although she basically does not roll (she rolled once). She scoots on her belly too. She will pull herself to standing when you hold her hands.
She grabs things like crazy-she uses her finger and thumb to pinch things-like the lettuce in the salad bowl at dinner the other night She will grab things from a small distance and she started throwing things.
She loves the jumperoo and she loves the activity mat. She loves her ball, her Sophie, and her Violet the Learning Puppy.
She is shrieking in delight, smiles all day long and belly laughs. She changes her tone when she babbles to me, although nothing is intelligible yet.
She started food at 5 months because of poor weight gain. She loves her cereal, fruits and veggies. I use either Earth's Best or I make her food, partly because of her milk allergy, and partly because I enjoy it!
No teeth yet.
Sleeping is terrible still. Any day now I will get my good sleeper back!
She is truly the light of my life and my little best friend

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Charlie turned 6 months on the 22nd.
She has been sitting up, unpropped, for a while, but lately has done it for extremely long periods of time (as in an HOUR) She HATES standing - hates her walker, exersaucer, but is happy as a pig in mud sitting in the corner of our couch surrounded by toys.
She has also started army crawling - just a bit. But if she really wants something thats out of her reach, she'll get it.
She just got one of her bottom teeth. I think the other one is coming soon because she's still extrememly fussy.
She loves food and eats a ton. She has a Stage 2 fruit for breakfast, Stage 2 Veggie for lunch and another Stage 2 Veggie for dinner. I mix alot of dry ceral into each - she eats it very thick. She will not eat cereal with formula but the dr. said thats ok since she is ultimately eating the cereal and still intaking the proper amount of formula. And she is still drinking her 6oz bottles every 3 hours, so most of my day is consumed with feeding her
At her 6 month appointment, she was 16lbs 7 oz and 26 inches.
No word yet, but she yells...alot. I have no idea who she could be getting that from She has this thing where she'll make a loud yelling noise, and will wait for someone to do it back. And it goes on and on. The other kids like to yell, so it works out well - they keep her entertained lol
She has been sleeping thru the night for months now. She'll go from 9:30 until 7 and then usually one LONG nap (up to 3 hours) that starts around noon. If we're out, she'll also sleep in the car.
She's just so silly and cute, with her fuzzy hair and all.

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Emmy is around 4.5 months, born the 15th of April.
DD seems to be "over" the exersaucer...she'll play in it for a little but seems to get bored. She enjoys the jumperoo...and loves when I bounce her, but she doesn't do it herself.
DD sits tripod but starts to topple when she lunges forward for something. She puts everything in her mouth, is slobbery, & likes to chew on everything (including DH's fingers & my arm). but no teeth yet.
We started cereal at 3ish months & have pretty much experimented with most of the veggies and fruits. When I have time I make some food or buy organic. She eats either fruit or veg mixed w/cereal 2x a day.
She babbles & screammmms like crazy too. Today she said mama (but not intentionally cuz she was just babbling). but she likes to say mmmmm all day long. we are practicing on dada sounds.
We have a belly-laugher too.
DD can roll from back to front but doesn't cuz she prefers not to be on her tummy. But she is almost lifting herself up to the crawl position. If we put her in it she can hold it for a little. she gets sooo angry that she can't move by herself!
She LOVES to stand and loves to go from sitting to standing (with help) and even "walks" if you hold her.
She likes balls...and drops them all over.

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DD is 6.5 months. She is a pleasure! At her 6 month appt she was 16lbs 1 ounce. She's so happy and laid back, tons of babbles-has says mama a couple times. She's a mover and a shaker-all over the place (and really quick cant leave her salone or you will find her on the other side of the room in a blink of an eye)-rolls both directions, sits up nicely (although she prefers to be on all fours and after a short time sitting goes down to the floor to go go go lol), and is almost crawling-she gets on all fours and rocks and then does a combo of army crawl and lunging from all fours like a little predator lol. Loves toys esp her brothers and is constantly trying to keep up with him. She STTN, gets a bottle 4x's a day, every 4 hours. and gets babyfood for AM, lunch and PM.

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Emerson is 6.5 months. I can't believe it At her 6 month appt, she was only 14lb 9oz. She's a tiny little munchkin face
She just wants to play all day. She doesn't want you just to sit and hold her, read to her, rock her etc. Just play play play.
She smiles NON STOP. Just look at her, she smiles. Talk to her, she smiles. She babbles a lot. She'll yell at me while i'm changing her diaper. She talks to herself in the mirror. She's very ticklish!! If you tickle under her arms she laughs so hard she cries.
She's so awesome and sooooooo fun. Emerson can sit up unassisted (has been for like a month) she does the "army crawl" to get around.
She's just starting to wave bye bye. It's more of a put her hand in the air and move 1 finger at a time lol
She's been trying solids now for almost 2 months. She hates them. I don't reallly even try that consistantly anymore b/c it's just a waste.
She's STTN. 8pm-630am. That on its own is a treat lol
Here's my little princess Image Attachment(s):

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Joanna is almost 5 months (On 9/2) and I can't believe how she's growing and turning into such a fun baby.
She's super active, always rolling. She'd rather stand (with someone holding her hands) than sit or lay. She's constantly smiling and laughing.
She's probably about 17-18lbs and 25-26 inches. My little chubba! She's eating cereal and LOVES it. We'll be starting fruits/veggies very soon.
I can't believe she's only been here 5 months, I can't imagine the world without her.
She's such a happy baby and smiled at just about everyone and loves flirting with the men!
She loves loves playing with the dog (an 8 lb yorkie). They are well on their way to becoming BBF. I love watching them play with toys together and she loves petting her and getting her feet licked by the dog.
She seems to be turning out to be a little momma's girl..definitely prefers me to anyone else, especially when she's tired.
She's been teething for quite a while now and this week, it seems a bit worse..but I see NOTHING!
Just booked our first vacation..she'll be 6 months the day we leave for florida!

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DS will be 7 months on September 8. He is a bruiser and at his 6 month appointment (which was more like 6.5 months), he was 28.5 inches and 20.7 lbs!
He has been on solids since 4 months and loves to eat. He is still on purees but we are starting to give him some table foods and puffs, and will be adding meats soon.
He has been doing this worm/semi-crawling for a few weeks now and I think he will be fully crawling any day now. Since he is mobile, we have started to baby-proof the house.
He loves playing with his toys - especially this steering wheel thing and work bench.
He babbles and laughs a lot - especially when he wakes up.
He also had cut 2 teeth!

My sweet Jessie Quinn is 6 mos now.
She is a lazy baby who sits there and smiles all the time I love it since she is our finale. With Josh I pushed him to do so much...with my forever baby, I just love looking at her.
She can sit for short periods of time. Loves her walker...even though she can only go backwards. Rolls...but only will roll onto that belly if absolutely necessary...she hates being on her belly. Loves kicking in the bathtub. Still in the swing.
Still ebf, added cereal and having a fun time making my own food. The more I read about baby's carbon footprints, the more I love the challenge. Still in cloth diapers...at 6 mos, my cost total is 141.00 on diapers. Hoping to make it a year on 200. The jars and plastic containers of baby food I wanted to eliminate. before her big haircut
She is way more attached to me then I thought. I left her for a few minutes with dh, she screamed like a nut until she saw me again. this happened again the next day as well.

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Ainsley will be 6 months on 9/5.
She had been STTN since she was 3 weeks but all of a sudden about 3 weeks ago she started waking up 1-3 times a night. Well just last week 2 teeth popped through. She's been sleeping ok since they popped through so hopefully that was what was waking her.
We've been trying solids and she isn't a fan. We're still on cereals. She spits out a lot of the food. My MIL and I just keep trying though and hopefully soon she'll get the hang of it because she is reaching for our food like crazy.
She loves the exersaucer and her activity mat. She can roll both ways but primarily she rolls from back to belly and then it takes her a while a roll back. She sometimes tries to scoot herself to get things. She can sit unassisted for a little bit. Sometimes if something catches her eye she will lunge and fall over, but if not she'll sit up for a while.
She babbles a ton. She yells at us and her sister. She doesn't say any real words yet.
She is so chunky. I can't wait to see how much she weighs at her 6 month appt on 9/12

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DS will be 5 months on Friday! He is a VERY active baby!
He is eating fruits with cereal in the am and pm...hes getting around 28-32oz of formula a day. We are going to start veggies next week!
He rolls from back to belly and belly to back on both sides.
He sits tripod for a LONG time but can sit without his hands for a few seconds before putting his arms down. He is constantly reaching for the dog. He laughs HISTERICALLY at the dog, so whenever he fusses we make the dog chase his tail or something. Its so funny!
He holds his own bottle. He doesnt like to be held anymore he wants to be on the ground rolling all over, but if you leave his side he FREAKS! He can stand with only holding one hand and when you hold both hands he walks all over! I CANNOT believe that! He is CRAZY! I think hes going to be an early walker! H
We have another appt on 9/9, but at his last appt he was 17lbs!!

ALbert is 4.5 months today. He weighs 16lbs 14ozs and is 27 inches long. He's a tall boy so far...just like his daddy .
He rolls from back to belly and belly to back. When he rolls on his belly he seems to want to crawl...he gets into position but can't mater lifting his chest and butt at the same time. He does either or and then tries to go.
He luaghs out loud. Especially when we play with his toes or munch on his belly..also when we say he's a Big big big big boy
We just started him on fruits and spoon feeding him cereal. he's been taking cereal in the bottle since almost 2.5 months. He seems to be getting the hang of it...he opens his mouth...from there it's a little messy...LOL. He grtaps and grabs things. He loves watching kids play and loveeswatching the dog. Sometimes when he's in the exersaucer and the dog walks by he tries to lunge and grasp him.
Gosh there is probaby a ton more. Sometimes I look at his newborn pics and am in awe of how quickly he's growing.

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DD is absolutely amazing me. She is already sitting tri-pod style - DS didn't do that till well after 6 months! She rolls ALL over the place and is so happy and active - I can't believe this is the same fussy baby we brought home
She loves her jumperoo, we have to bring the exersaucer up from the basement and get rid of the swing, which she now hates
We skipped cereal and went straight to fruits and veggies. She is a chow hound - loved everything we give her! She is eating 2-3x times a day and is down to 28-30 oz of formula, which is awesome. Plus, best part - for the past two nights she has STTN! 8pm to 7am, and then 7pm to 7am. I am hoping it's a continuing trend
She coos and babbles a lot and loves to shriek and laugh - she is so LOUD! It's adorable.
When she wakes, she's just like DS, can play by herself for hours if we'd let her.
DS is loving her more and more these days especially since he can give her toys to play with and she gives him the biggest smiles of all.
ETA: Best of all, she's already getting up on her hands and knees She is going to be crawling soon, I am sure!

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DD will be 5mos on Friday! At her 4mo appt so was 15lbs 4oz and 26.5in long. I can't wait to see how big she is next week!
We are EBF, and haven't started solids yet.
She sits on her own now. Plays with toys and can lean forward and pull herself back up to sitting position (most of the time). Reaches for everything, including our dog, whom she finds to be fascinating!
Is ALMOST rolling over back to belly, she should get it in a few days! At 2.5mos she rolled from belly to back for a few weeks but now doesn't do it anymore. When she is on her tummy, she pushes up so far on her arms!
She LOVES her exersaucer so much. We are putting together the jumperoo tonight for her. She loves to stand and if we place our hands around her for a little support she stands on her own and LOVES IT! I think she's going to skip crawling.
She sleeps 11hrs at night and naps just as great!
She always is smiling and laughing at us. She loves when we sing to her and watching her daddy play the guitar. When Yo Gabba Gabba comes on, she instantly smiles.
My heart melts each second of each day with her!

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Immi is six months old this week and she is a living, smiling doll!
She has just started solids and she really loves her food! She can't sit up yet, but she can roll (kind of) she is a chubette and I adore her! She loves the exersaucer, the playmat and her big brother!
And...she has TWO TEETH!!! How cute is that!

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Dillon is 4 months- just under 15 lbs. and 26 1/2 inches. He's doing great- reaching and grabbing and putting toys in mouth, now if only I can teach him how to put his paci in his mouth!
He LOVES the jumper and does like the exersaucer but he's still too small for it- I have to put a little pillow in it b/c the opening is so big- but his feet touch the bottom on both. He rolled over at daycare but I haven't seen it yet.
We set up the highchair for the first time yesterday so he could sit with us while we eat dinner. He liked it for about 10 min.s and than was done lol. We don't plan to start cereal until after 5 months. He's EBF and doing great- takes 3- 5oz. bottles at daycare and I nurse him 3 x's a day.
This boy is all about his legs and feet- he is constantly kicking his feet in the air and grabbing them. He slams his legs down in the crib all night long- like hard and loud!
He was STTN but than decided his was done with that at 15 weeks. He wakes up multiple times a night for the paci and is making mommy and daddy very tired. I'm thinking part of it is teething and part is that he's moving around his crib so much now that he wakes himself up. He's taken to sleeping on his side, which is very cute.
Here's some pics from 16 weeks:

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DS will be 5 months on 9/7. We go to the Ped next week and I can't wait to see how big he got!
He rolls from back to belly and belly to back all the time. He loves to stand up and sits up tri-pod style. anything that he can grab and put in his mouth, he loves. He got his first tooth last week and another is coming through soon. He babbles and laughs and loves when we tickle his little belly.
