Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
DD will be 5 months on 4/8. She is the happiest baby. Smiles all the time & rarely cries.
This baby is a "go with the flow" kind of girl which has made things so easy. We go on long days trips to beach & she has even been on a plane already. She is a joy to be around.
She squeals & screams in the early morning and later in the day. She is not on food yet. My ped doesn't recommend cereal until 6 months. But she is a little chunk. She was 15 lbs at her last appointment love her!
She loves her tiny love mobile, seahorse toy and of course sophie giraffe. you will always see her with her soothie too! She can find it and put it in her mouth. Such a big girl

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
What a great idea! I keep searching my old posts to see what DD did when she was his age!
DS will be 5 months old tomorrow!! I can't wait for his ped appt to find out how much he weighs now... I think he is over 17lbs now- he is a tank and is already outgrowing his 6month clothes! He just started sleeping from 7pm to 6:30am on a consistent basis these past few weeks. He is an awesome napper (so unlike his big sis). He goes down for a long nap between 9 & 9:30, then again between 12:15 & 1, and then usually likes a little cat nap around 5.
He has been eating a 7oz bottle (sometimes 8) every 4 hours. He started cereal last month and so far has also had apples, pears, squash & bananas- he seems to love them all, although he made a funny face when I gave him the apples for the first time.
He also LOVES the exersaucer- he uses it like a mad man! It is so fun to watch him play in the same toy that his big sister once used.
He has rolled over back to belly once so far, and seems to be really close to doing it again when I watch him on the monitor while he is in his crib. He sits up well, but can't do it without me there-he often does a nose dive!
He is such a happy, sweet baby! He loves to laugh and giggle and attack our faces-- he especially adores his big sister, which I love!

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Kate Marie was just 5 months old on the 28th. I have no idea how it went by so fast.
At her 4 month visit, she was 15 pounds, 2 ozs and 25.5 inches. 75% for both.
She just today started rolling belly to back. And DH todl me she scooted on her belly about a foot. She will be crawling soon.
She eats oatmeal and her frutis and veggies. Loves most of the fruits and the kid can't get enough squash. which is ironic becasue Amelia hated it
she is loud, loud, loud. yells at the monkey in her bouncy seat, yells at the bird on her exersauscer. just yells her happy, "hey, I'm talking to you." yell at everyone.
And is the happiest kid you've ever seen. Smiles for days. So sweet. And am I the only one who forgot that they don't have teeth. I forgot about the gummy, drooly smiles.
She adores her older sister. Just looks for her and loves to be around her. And Amelia feels the same way about Kate.
I have 2 very special girls.

Re: February/March/April Mommies...Check in!
Emerson turned 4months on August 26th!
She is still a peanut, 11lbs 8oz 22.5inches. Our ped. assures us that she indeed will be tall b/c DH and I are pretty tall, just waiting for a growth spurt!
SHe does not nap nor sleep through the night but at least she's cute
The ped also said she is going to be trouble since she rolled over at 2months...and she hasn't stopped since! She is a mover and a shaker and babbles and coos all day long. She also just recently found out that she has feet
We tried rice cereal for the first time today, she was uncertian to say the least!
My goal is to get her on a nap/sleep schedule within the next few weeks
She is a happy happy baby and all smiles Image Attachment(s):
