Fed up with my hair--Anyone do a Brazilian Blowout?

I'm not sure this is the same as the keratin straightening, but I do know it's different from the Japanese treatment.

I hate the frizz on warm, humid days. I feel like I can literally see it frizz up right before my eyes. And rain? Forget about it. But in nice weather, with low humidity, my hair is fine.

I want to take the plunge and do it. Anyone? Where did you go, and how much did it cost?

Edit: I see under related topics for Brazilian hair straightening. Is it the same thing? I am confused!!

Brazilian Express Blowout takes frizz out but wont make it pin straight and only last up to 6wks with the right care.

Im doing this soon. i used to get Brazilian straightening and I dont care for the pin straight hair all the time and I miss my waves on a good day.

It did not work on my hair at all. I have super thick, super coarse, spiral curly hair. They warned me at the salon but I was scared of the commitment of the longer term process. They told me it was a possibility that it wouldn't work.
