FINAL UPDATE! Teresa SENTENCED | MINOR UPDATE: Judge NOT Happy Teresa & Joe Guidice Sentenced Today

No sentence yet, but Judge Salas is not happy with Joe and Teresa Giudice for not disclosing everything they should have on financial documents and for turning them in MONTHS late.
According to NewJersey.com the Federal judge is ticked that the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple left several “glaring omissions” on their financial disclosure forms, including recreational vehicles, home furnishings, cars, construction equipment and seven other items. Apparently they were also supposed to have filed these documents in MARCH, but first did it in AUGUST. That is why their hearing was delayed! “I had to put the sentencing off because the financial disclosure wasn’t in,” Salas said.
Ouch. This isn’t starting off well! We’ll keep you posted!
and now there’s some possible issues with Joe’s failure to file tax returns.
From @VickiHY on Twitter, “Break in hearing. Conflicting reports from lawyers as to whether Joe filed his tax returns since 2009.”
Another update from Newjersey.com:
“Teresa, for instance, lists 0 for her jewelry on the forms, but her defense attorney said that most of her jewelry is worth very little because it is costume jewelry. The couple listed $25,000 in furnishings for their $3 million home but the defense attorney said that’s because the furnishings seen on TV are brought in by the production company.”

Teresa & Joe Guidice Sentenced Today
Oh wow, she must be terrified. I think Joe knows he's going to prison.
They are guilty and he's a crook but I kinda feel bad for her because I truly think she was clueless when the crimes were committed.
If she gets even 30 days in jail and she has to leave her kids with her brother and Melissa....after all of the crap between them.

Joe will get time, but won't be deported. She will get probation and maybe house arrest. Whatever it will be, it will be bs.

I think Joe is going jail. Teresa I think with get some sort of house arrest or probation. I also do not think Joe will deported.

Where did you see that? I havent seen anything yet. Also what exactly is house arrest for her? You're allowed to go to work when you're under house arrest right? So I'm sure she'll be able to get away with saying that going out to parties etc is "work".

just saw on abc news that it is expected that the judge won't be too lenient. I know kids are the ones that suffer but I really don't feel sorry at all for that family. I hope the kids will be taken care of by family and they are safe and healthy but the parents, pay the piper!!
eta- i don't think the judge should show leniency simply b,c she has kids.
They were never thinking of their kids in the first place. How can you make such immoral choices in your life knowing there are risks.
I would never put our family in jeopardy like that...

I hope they throw them both in jail.
They should have thought about the consequences. Should have thought about what could happen to their children.
I don't feel bad for either of them - Theresa wants us to believe that everything about her is fake - her entire identity, entire empire - was built off a fictitious character that Bravo created? She's smart enough to create her brand but not smart enough for anything else? BS. She can play the blame game all she wants but I cannot believe for one second that she was completely innocent in all of this.

North jersey.com reported joe is getting 41 months. Teresa is being sentence next but judge said they would not serve at the same time so one of them can care for kids.
I hope this means tre is going to jail!!!

I just read 41 months for Joe and over 400k in restitution?
Teresa wasn't yet sentenced but regardless she won't serve time at the same time Joe does in order to have someone with the girls?

People.com posted this at 1:25pm. Joe got sentenced, awaiting teresa....
Teresa and Joe Giudice appeared in court one final time on Thursday where Judge Esther Salas sentenced Joe, a father of four, to serve 41 months – almost three and a half years – in prison.
PEOPLE is still awaiting word on the sentence for Teresa, 42.
The couple's legal troubles came to a head in July of 2013 when they were charged in a 39-count indictment that included conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications, and bankruptcy fraud.
After originally pleading not guilty to all charges, they then changed their plea to guilty last March.
The couple have four daughters, Audriana, 5, Milania, 8, Gabriella, 9, and Gia, 13.

apparently max for joe was 47 months and he got 41.
Max for T is 27. I bet she gets 18 months.

Joe and Theresa will not serve time at the same time, the girls will not be split up.
Still SUCKS but at least the judge showed mercy for the girls.
