First family party - newborn
We have our first party tomorrow with DS - he is 7.5 weeks. We've been doing a bedtime routine and lately his 7:30/8pm bottle has been the bedtime bottle. We're going to be at the part till hten - so do I just get him in his PJs there and then finish the routine at home or don't even bother starting the routine until we get home so I don't confuse him? Am I totally overthinking this for a a seven week old?
TIA!

I always bring PJs whenever we'll be out around bed time. 9 times out of 10 if we get in the car to go home anywhere close to DDs bedtime she's out like a light. When we get home I can transfer her to the crib without waking her to change into her PJs. This isn't our normal routine, but it doesn't seem to affect her negatively in any way.
Have fun!

When my DD was 7 weeks old, she would fall asleep fine no matter where we were. I think if you bring pj's with you, you should be fine. Have fun at the party!
