First Period after D&C

How was yours?

I bled for about 3 weeks after my D&C, then it stopped and I got what I thought was my period two days but it only lasted a day - is this normal?

I was so off that I bled on and off for a long time then finally dried up.. I didnt get my period until 9.5 weeks later after taking progesterone to get it going well when I did get it HOLY COW was if heavy.. I thought I was gonna need a blood transfusion I could'nt believe I was still alive..(have to add humor to this)
If you get it a month or so Im sure it wont be as bad as mine. Sorry your going through this and hope you get back on track real soon.

I spotted for a couple of weeks after my D&C and got my first period 5 weeks after the D&C. It was AWFUL - heavier than I could have imagined and 7 days.

Thanks for your replies. I had my follow up yesterday and my OB said what I got that time was probably not my period seen as it only last a day so I guess I am still waiting for AF to arrive 5 weeks later.

So I got what I thought was my period...again...this past wednesday. It was a full on period - not majorly heavy but normal for me...wednesday and thursday then today nothing!! Could my period have only lasted two days or am I still waiting on it since my D&C.

My D&C was 6 1/2 weeks ago. I bled for three weeks after it then it stopped for a week then I got what I thought was my period at 4 weeks post d&C but it only lasted one day...then this past week I got what I thought was my period again at what would have been over 6 weeks but that only lasted two days.

I just want AF to come back so I can ovulate and move on.

So confused as to what is going on with my body right now
