First time having sex after delivery
So, is there any reason why the Dr. tells you no sex until they see you for your post pardum appt? I see my Dr. this Friday (I will be 8 weeks post partdum) is there a reason why I cant have sex before that appt?

From my understanding, they want to make sure you healed OK.
No sex, no baths, no pool. I missed the bath part the worst!

I think they want to make sure you haven't gone CRaZY for wanting to have sex again! Kidding! 
Had my 6 week appt yesterday and like pp said they want to be sure you're fully healed and ready to go!

My Dr let me swim as soon as I felt up to it.
I remember asking him the day he discharged me from the hospital. It was summer and I have a pool and the thought of not swimming ALL summer was killing me.
He said I could swim as soon as I felt comfy doin git.
He just said the PP bleeding would be a issue with swimming (an no tampons so...) but as soon as that was gone he was fine with me swimming.
The sex thing- they want to make sure you are healed well and they also want to discuss BC options because you are quite fertile after you deliver.

Yes on both points.
I had about 7 million stitches, gotta make sure all is well before anything goes near there!
And it's not the best thing for you body to get pg again right away, so the OB usually discusses that.

To make sure you are healed and for me the first few times were not fun (painful) so I was in no rush

Same here. I think the bath/pool thing is more in the line of infection, pools, but particularly baths are breading grounds for germs. Baths more so because they don't have any chemicals in there to kill the germs and your dirty feet are in the same water.
