Flip Flops at work...yay or nay
I say nay. Especially in a corporate setting. I hate the sound of people flip flopping down the hall. Plus, totally unprofessional.
(unless of course you are preggo, then it's OK because usually nothing else fits, LOL)

It doesn't look professional and I know from experience that the "flip-flop" sound annoys the hell out of people (me!).

At my work if you're not going into the shop anything goes! We are a dirty precision grinding shop though. No nice clothes unless you stay at your desk and don't touch anything!
Never in a more professional setting !

I wear them, but not the typical old navy $2 ones. They have to be a little dressy. I'm also a teacher, so I think we get away with more.

but I work in a super casual environment..

I wear nice leather ones...on Friday, I will wear my fruit and sailboat J Crew ones! (I'm in a really casual office...we publish musclehead mags, for Pete's sake!)

I work at an Advertising Agency, some days we are lucky that some of the design team don't come in dressed as giant bananas or something!

I wear them, but only on fridays since friday is dress down day and we can wear anything... shorts, t's, flip flops.

I wear them all of the time. We have a very casual environment... I can wear jeans, tanks. We all keep a change of clothes in the office for meetings with clients. I love it!

I'm wearing them right now! 
I work in construction in a very casual office and we don't see any customers, so I don't see a problem with it. Heck! - most of the men in this office come in covered in dirt!
