Flu Shot Question
The pediatrician's office told me they will not be getting more flu shots and the shots they do have are already spoken for. How do I get DS a flu shot? He is 2. Can I take him to a drug store if they offer them?

Re: Flu Shot Question
Thats crazy. Flu shots just started being given and there is no shortage. They should have flu shots available for every child that comes to their office.
You can probably go to a walk-in clinic.

Re: Flu Shot Question
They told me that the companies aren't making as many flu vaccines because they are making swine flu shots. I don't know if that's true that's just what they told me.

Yes you can get shots at your local drug store - but keep in mind that they are not thimerisol free.

Re: Flu Shot Question
Oh no..I made an appt at my pmd for 9/23. I hope they still have them by then. They should make enough of flu and swine flu vaccines cause they are different strains.
