Flying alone with DC? i have a ton of questions
So i would really like to fly down to NC to spend thanksgiving with my brother SIL and niece. but im petrified of flying with DD alone. She will only be 4 months old. Its a super quick flight an hour and 10 min tops. but i hate to fly as it is. i used to be fine when i was going alone but im scared to death to take her with me that she fill feed off my anxiety. my parents are going also and will be driving (a good 12 hour drive) and offered to take us with them im contemplating it but i think id rather deal with a screaming infant for tops 2 hours then 12 hours in a car. KWIM?
so heres my questions..
1. would you fly with a 4 month old alone? 2. if you have what are some of the tricks of the trade? 3. Do i have to pay for her? 4. can i take my snap n go and carseat? 5. am i crazy for even thinking about doing this?
any other advice would be greatly appreciated!

1. would you fly with a 4 month old alone? YES, I did the same trip. 2. if you have what are some of the tricks of the trade? TYLENOL and cotten for her ears. 3. Do i have to pay for her?NO, bring copy of BC 4. can i take my snap n go and carseat? YES 5. am i crazy for even thinking about doing this? MAYBE
GOING FROM nc TO ny ds screamed THE ENTIRE FLIGHT AND 3 DAYS TO FOLLOW.
Going back, I gave him tylenol before we got on and put cotten in his ears, he was a smiling fool. GL.
He was 3mos at the time. When we moved back to NY, we drove he was fine, better then us in the car for 12 hours.

I flew with dd to Fla when she was 13 months. I flew during her nap times. Defintely make sure your baby has a bottle when you're taking off and landing. That will help them if the ears hurt. You do not have to pay for the child if they are going to sit in your lap. With my DD, I bought her some new toys that she saw for the first time while on the plane. That kept her distracted when she was awake.

Re: Flying alone with DC? i have a ton of questions
I have flown twice, with my husband, and DS. Just be prepared if you use an umbrella stroller, we had to fold it up and send it through security. That would be my biggest issue, holding a baby, bags on my shoulder, boarding passes in my hand, and having to collapse the stroller.
Hopefully, someone from security will help you out.
