FMLA Question
Does anyone know if when they count up your 1250 hours does it include vacation time you took as well as overtime you worked?

If you mean 1250 hours worked in a time frame for eligibility, my job would count overtime hours for hourly staff, not salaried staff. But I would suggest speaking to your HR person as I don't know if there is a general rule or not.

I am salary but if I work more than 4 hours over my shift, I get paid that hourly.

Re: FMLA Question
Im not sure of your question...1250 should be your reg. time..OT should not be included...
I think that answers your question...
You have 1250 (hrs.) as unpaid time. These 1250(hrs.) should equal time you are not in the office...
I assume you are going on STD as well...So based on your birth plan typically you will get 6 for natural birth and 8 weeks for c-section birth..
STD and FMLA run parell...So you will be ducked for the 1250 while you are on STD...Does that make sense? FM if you have any questions.

If I'm understanding the question correctly I think she is talking about eligibility for FMLA. My understanding is you need to have 1250 hours "worked". Which technically could mean they would carve out vacation ours because they are not hours "worked". To the OP do you work at least 25 hours a week? Are you very part time so you think you might not qualify?
