Food for colitis & allergies
Does anyone know of a food thats good for colitis and allegies??
My dog has colitis and responded really well to the Science diet precription I/D food - but it bothered his allergies. When we switched back to his allergy free food - it bothered his colitis

we had Buddy on IAMS i/d it seemed to work for him, he had a bad stomach and really bad allerigies.

is this the food:
iams
some of the ingredients are the same as the hills but some are different so it might be worth a shot - at this point i think we are gonna be trial and error

Yes that was the formula, but we used dry.

My pit mix has colitis. I wanted to get him off of the prescription food. We have been using Health Extension for about years now and he has had no problems. if we give him anything else, his colitis will act up. He doesn't have allergies though so i don't know how it is for allergies.
