Re: For all of the married women....
It was an extended cathedral length so I took it off for the reception.

Re: For all of the married women....
I didn't have a veil, just a tiara. I didn't want one.

Re: For all of the married women....
I wore it the entire day. I had planned to take it out for the reception but it was just so pretty. I am glad I left it in.

Re: For all of the married women....
i took off my veil before the reception even started. i had a full cathedral length and i would've tripped on it if i had worn it during the reception.

Re: For all of the married women....
I loved my veil. A lot of thought went into creating it. It was a 2 tier fingertip with ribbon edging and crystals scattered throughout. I didn't take it off until I took off my dress.

Re: For all of the married women....
I left mine all day
I figured - it's the only time in my life I'll probably ever get to wear one - I took full advantage of it! It was a double-layer fingertip that was pinned into my hair in the back, so it wasn't annoying to have there all day.

Re: For all of the married women....
I wore the cathedral veil from the time we got there for pictures to right after the ceremony. The veil stayed on until after the first couple of dances.

I kept it on all day. I just loved how it looked and it made me feel even more "bride-like"!
Ditto this! Plus, it was a bonus that the comb was so stuck in my head with the bobby pins - that sucker wasn't coming out!

Re: For all of the married women....
I took off the cathedral length piece and wore the rest through the whole reception. How often can you get away with wearing something so rediculous?
