Re: For all of the married women....
I took mine off. I wanted to show off the back of my dress, it was so pretty. Also the veil was kind of annoying.

Re: For all of the married women....
I wore my veil all night.. it didn't bother me at all.. I only had a fingertip and a blusher, so it wasn't cumbersome

Re: For all of the married women....
I had TWO veils. A cathedral length that I wore for the ceremony and a waltz length for the reception.
The way I see it is this: when the hell else (beside Halloween) in your entire life will you be able to wear a veil ALL day and not have anyone look at you crazy?
This is coming from the girl who recently wore her gown to vacuum the house ...... (hey- I want my 3200.00 dollar's worth!!)

I kept it on all day. I just loved how it looked and it made me feel even more "bride-like"!
Ditto this! Plus, it was a bonus that the comb was so stuck in my head with the bobby pins - that sucker wasn't coming out!
Same here although everytime someone hugged me I would check the comb because it felt like they pulled it out but it didn't move!

Re: For all of the married women....
I wore a cathedral and elbow length for the church. Then I took the cathedral off and only woe the elbow length for the rest of the day. I felt like even more of a bride when I had it on.

Re: For all of the married women....
I had a 3-tier cathedral length veil. I took the cathedral tier off when we got to the reception and bustled the train. I left the fingertip / elbow layers on for about half the reception -- took them off about 30-45 mins before we cut the cake.

Re: For all of the married women....
I took it off immediately after the ceremony. The beauty of my dress was the back and not the front. Wearing my veil would have taken away from it.
