Re: For all of the married women....

I had two veils- a catherdral one and a short one. I was supposed to put the short one one after I took off the catherdral one. I forgot but wish I didn'tChat Icon

Re: For all of the married women....

I took off my cathedral after the church (well after the church and limmo pics) and took off my veil during CH. I left my tiara on.

Re: For all of the married women....

I wore it the entire day. The only thing I took off after church was my blusher.

Re: For all of the married women....

My veil was cathedral length.....so I think wearing it the entire evening would have been uncomfortable....I did wear it for the first few minutes of the reception before removing it....

Mine fell off when I was walking into the reception hall. So, I left it off.

Re: For all of the married women....

I think I took mine off about 2 seconds after the ceremony.

I kept the comb/tiara part in, but the veil was off pretty quickly after the church.

Re: For all of the married women....

I wore a mantilla and while it was gorgeous, there was no way I could comfortably wear it all night.

I wore my veil for the church and pics afterwards but took it off in the bridal suite as soon as we arrived.

Re: For all of the married women....

I kept it on all day until we got home that night. Actually I had all intentions of taking it off at the reception (that is what I said for months leading up to the big day) and then the day of our wedding in the bridal suite I said to DH "should I take it off now" and he said "no please keep it on". He said he loved how I looked in it and that it was only for one day. So I kept it on. And to be honest I was so glad I did!
