Re: for those that had babies on the smaller side( says between 6.5 lbs and 7.5lbs) question

My DD was born at 5lbs 15 oz- and at 8 months, she is around 16lbs. She is really petite- and some 6 month clothes are big on her, but for the most part, she is still in 6 month clothes.

DS was 6lbs, 11oz at birth and he is pretty true to size now. He is probably around 22lbs. He still wears some 6-9 month clothes, and some 12 month clothes.

He was tiny for a while, but he has started to get bigger since he is eating solids.

Kristina was born 6lbs 2oz, and was 18 inches long.... At her 2 month appt, she was 10lbs on the nose, and 22 inches long.

We moved out of NB diapers at 6 wks 6 days, and are now in stage 1.

She was in the 50% for weight and height.

yes...mine were both chubba's with big ole turkey legs by 2 months or so.

Both boys were born smaller - 7lbs 1 oz, 7lbs 2 oz (both born at 37 weeks) and both were 90+ %ile babies from mo 2 on.

The baby just had his 8 mo old appt was 22lbs 3 oz and 29 3/4 inches. (90th %ile for weight, 95th for height). So many people think he is 2-4 mos older than he is because of his size and all his hair! My avatar is him at 4 mos - not a skinny minnie by no means.

Victoria was 6lbs 3 oz at birth. She has pretty much stayed on track with clothing sizes and her age. She is 9 months tomorrow and most 6 - 9 month clothing is not fitting her so I took out her 12 month spring clothes last weekend.

However, now that she is starting on meats, toast, yogurt (the more bulkier foods) I'm wondering if that will change her sizing going forward.

Alex was born at 6lbs. By the time we took her to her first pediatrician appointment, he warned us not to be worried because most babies lose a little bit of weight in the first few weeks. But Alex gained some, and kept going.

Since about 2 weeks old she's been off the charts when it comes to weight and height.

John was 6lbs 14oz, he plumped up around 5 months, but he is still on the small size, at 3 he can still get away with wearing 24 months. He is much smaller than all of my friends kids

Isabella was 6 lbs 7 oz at birth.
Now she is 7 months old and approx. 17 pounds. She is wearing 6-9 months. She is always on par with size/age.

Izabella was 6lbs 7oz at birth (5lbs 15oz) when we took her home...at her 10 month check upi she was 18.4 lbs

She's tall and thin according to my PED. But weighing just fine for her.

DD was 6lbs 14oz at birth. My ped refers to her as lean. She is relatively long but pretty skinny. She is 8 months and weighs 14lbs 5oz. The funny thing is the kid loves to eat.

DS was 6 lbs 8 oz at birth, 6 lbs when we brought him home. Now at 10 mos, he is 21 lbs. As for clothing, he's pretty much in line with the sizes the manufacturers put out for his size. He's still in 9 mos now but is starting to wear some 12 mos.

DS was 6.10 at birth and 6 even when we left the hospital. Now at 21 months he is 29ish pounds. He weights as much as his 3 year old cousin!
