We're in the market for a couch/chair combo for the livingroom (a formal room, only used for company). Because of a monstrous fireplace we don't have room for a loveseat.

I saw a Broyhill (pick your own fabric) couch/chair combo at Rt. 110 Galleries. Price I was quoted was $1499. It will take 8-10 weeks due to custom fabric, tan microfiber.

We don't have the time to comparisson shop like we used to. We went to a few places along Rt. 110 and this is the only one I saw in the style and color I liked. So, I'm asking you guys, based upon your recent shopping experiences... good price? Can I do better? Any suggestions?

TIA

The couch would be in a different fabric than shown below.

If you like it get it. As for the price it seems average to me.

We have a Rowe Studio set with slipcovers in our formal style LR. We paid around that price for the 2-seater couch and a wing chair from Seigerman's. We could have paid a lot more for the couch filled with down, which was gorgeous, but I'm very happy with the one we have. I believe it also took 8 weeks for delivery.

Have you been to macy's furniture gallery? I've seen those type of couches in tan microfiber like you are looking for.Chat Icon

My couch from Ikea is almost exactly the same style (with slipcover choices).
