Did you find recovery to be the same, worse or better the 2nd time around ? My 1st was pretty easy i thought, and I was recently speaking to my friends sister and she said her 2nd one was terrible...Both of mine were scheduled so there was no labor issues to make my 1st worse or anything like that- Just hoping I have a similar experience this time around (especially being as I have an active 3yo. this time around Chat Icon )

I had 3 with no labor. Each time the recovery was easier. My kids are 2 years apart and I just tried to take it easy. Also, you do have to remember that it is an operation. Try not to lift when possible. Good Luck!

I've had 3 also, I had labor with my 1st. Each time recovery was 100x easier than the time before. With the first, which i also went thru labor, i hurt for months. With the last I hurt for about 5 days then it was like nothing happened.

I was in labor the first time; was not the second. I did not find the second time to be easier physically. In fact, I had a quite painful burning sensation at home that I did not have the 1st time. It was easier in that I knew what to expect.

A friend of mine has had three sections. Her second was a piece of cake and her third was horrible. I think it's probably just a crapshoot.
