Former Nutramagen/ milk protein allergy moms

DD's 1st Birthday is next month my Ped is open to us tying to transition her off of the Nutramagen. He told me I had a few options.
1. 9-24 Months Milk Based Formula
2. 9-24 Months Soy Based Formula
3. Soy Milk
4. Whole Milk
5. Stay on Nutramagen since the referral was approved for another 6 months.

What did you ladies try, was it successfull? Also how was the poop transition?

I am so sick of dealing with Nutramagen Poops every morning!

DD had Breast Milk, Enfamil, Enfamil AR, Lactofree Enfamill, Gentleses Enfamil all before Nutramagen.

my dd was on Elecare and we did the switch to milk last week.
The Dr. said there was only one way to find out if she still has the allergy and that was to give her dairy.
The next am I mixed in 2oz of milk and she did fine.
We are now down to 2oz of formula the rest milk.

She was a little constipate and hasn't regulated yet but she's doing really well.

my dd was on neocate..i did a little milk every am in her bottle mixed with formula until it was 100%.
took about 1-1.5 months to transition her.

She drinks it like a champ and there was no sign at all of reaction, constipation etc. My ped assured me that any new food you introduce could upset baby's bowel movements and not necessarily just milk. My ped wanted us to go cold turkey, i wasn't ready for that :)

She's come a long way from that little baby that broke out in hives and swelled up from milk based formula.

I BF for the first year then slowly transitioned her to soy milk. Now at 2yrs it is still showing in her bloodwork that she is allergic to dairy but the levels are going down so there's hope!
