Freaking out!! Going on our BabyMoon/Last Vacation as a family of three, and having pressure..

Dh and I are going on a 6 day cruise with Ava on Sunday. We are leaving out of New York, so I won't have to fly.

I am 20-going on 21 weeks pg. I have been having a lot of pressure for the last few weeks. At first I thought I had a UTI, the OB gave me 7 days of an antibiotic, and it never really went away. I went back a week later. I had no infection at that time, heartbeat was strong, no leaking fluid or spotting at all. At that visit, the OB said the baby is probably just laying on my bladder, and once he moves up, it will get better.

I went for a check up today, and said that I felt the pressure, and he gave me an internal. He said everything was closed and I am not at all dialated. I also had my level 2 on Wednesday, and everything looked fine.

My BFF just had her 2nd baby and said that she had pressure and felt like the baby was "falling out" at around 20 weeks also, and was fine. DO you think this is because it is my 2nd pregnancy, and everything is just more streched out????

Do you think I will be ok on the cruise??? I am soo afaraid that something bad will happen, and I will be far from home and my Doctors... Please reassure me!!!!

I think the pressure down there is normal from 17-20 weeks. I felt it the other day, but it was more like a soreness. It has since gone away, but i'm prepared for it to come back.

Have fun on your trip, just take it easy, drink plenty of water.

I have pressure right now.... but frankly, I've been attributing virtually everything I feel to my hideous case of constipation

I noticed with my second that things either felt intesified or I felt things sooner. You might have felt that stuff with Ava, just later. I would drink plenty of water and try not to worry about it.

With my second I have had pressure for mnths. THe doctor said it is nrmal since everythingi s already stretched. Enjoy your vacation

WIth this pregnancy I have felt a lot more pressure so I think it has a lot to do with this being your second. As long as your doctor doesn't feel there's a reason not to go then I say go. I'm sure you will be fine and just take it easy if you start to feel uncomfortable.

My doctor told me that I'm going to feel as if I'm carrying the baby between my knees, being that this is my second pregnancy. I'm sure the pressure is a normal thing. I wake up every morning with pressure and I'm almost 16 weeks.

i feel that kind of pressure every once in a while - this is my first, and i am 22 weeks. it usually goes away after i move around a bit.

if you dr says you are fine i would go for it - enjoy your vacation!!
